"Rich yellow ochre, olive green and terra cotta, these colours of Tuscany and Spain have inspired many of my oils and acrylics. Two winters in Andalusia where I sat on a mountain side, where lizards darted around my feet, goat bells jangled nearby and oranges for free fell down around me. Since then I have painted in Thailand, Canada, India, Mexico, and Japan. My love of landscape confirms my belief that my star sign, Virgo being related to the earth is why I love to paint this subject."
